みなさんお久しぶりです。
It's been a while since my last update. How've you guys been?

日本はもうすっかり秋で、ぼちぼち紅葉が始まった頃でしょうか？
嵐山は全国からのおばちゃん達でごった返すシーズンですね。
In Japan, have trees and leaves beautifully turned their colour into yellow and red?
I assume Arashiyama, Kyoto would be filled up by OBACHAN (mid-aged ladies) from every part of Japan as usual of this time.

秋刀魚を大根おろしとポン酢で白米と一緒にたらふく食べた～い！！！と、そんな事を夢見ている今日この頃。
These days, I'm missing so badly eating SANMA (Pacific sauries) with grated Japanese white radish and PONZU together with white Japanese rice.

そんな11月の週末は何かと色々予定があり、毎週ナイロビまで上京してます。
Instead of always day-dreaming some good Japanese seasons, I was going to Nairobi every weekend this month to do work and activities.

第1週：定期健康診断＆予防接種＆ドミ委員会＠ナイロビ
1st Weekend:Annual medical check-up & Vaccination & JOCV Dormitory Committee @ Narok.

第2週：ナロクサッカー大会！＠ナロク
同期隊員が企画、運営に絡んだこの大会。選手要員として参加。マサイ族とサッカー！

2nd Weekend: Football Tournament @ Narok. Joined this event, which my friend JOCV planned and organised, as a player. Football with Masai!!!! I'll update this on blog later.

第3週（今週末）：在外公館で働く京都外大卒の友人と夕食＠ナイロビ
3rd(this) Weekend: Dinner @ Nairobi with friends from the same Uni, KUFS, who is working in Japan Embassy in Nairobi and Singapore.

第4週：Heart ni Shoot！＠ナイロビ
ナイロビのゲタスル更生学校にて生徒達とケニアJOCVのサッカー大会に参加予定！！
4th Weekend: Join an football event "Heart ni Shoot" organised by the other JOCV @ Nairobi.

と、こんな感じ。
平日はpolepole（ゆっくり）、週末はharaka haraka（めちゃ早い）。
Time is POLEPOLE (slow) weekdays, and is HARAKA HARAKA (very fast) weekends.

12月も毎週イベントの目白押しやし、あっちゅう間に2010年が過ぎ、ケニアに来て6ヶ月が過ぎる。
December is also filled up with so many events.
The year of 2010 will goes and ends like this.
And 6 months since I've been in Kenya will have passed by then.

今は試験中で、1月まで授業はない。1ヶ月、時間はたっぷりある。
あと1年半（18ヶ月)しかない活動のうちのこの1ヶ月。
次の学期から始めたい事をリストアップし、同僚と計画しよう！
No P.E. class till next term January. I've got plenty of time till then. 1-good-month of time.
1 month out of rest of my 18-month volunteer work.
Let's start to list up and plan, with my counterparts, things that I want to start from the new term.

・読み書き補習授業。Reading & Writing tuition.
・周辺の小中学校との交流。Sharing activities with neighbouring schools.
・日本の学校との文化交流。Cultural exchange programmes with a school in Japan.
・校舎内ポイ捨て禁止運動。No Littering in the School Programme.
・朝練、夕練のメニューの充実。Improve practice menu in the morning and evening.
・ナイロビ野球チームとの交流。Practice and games with Nairobi boys'' baseball team.
などなど like these.

書き出してみると、やれる事めちゃめちゃあるやん！！！
考えてみると、時間って限られてるやん！！！
これって、1年半後やりたくてもやられへん事やん！！！
Now I know, there so many activities which I can!!!!
Then I know, time in Kenya is so limited!!!!
These are the things that I won't be able to do after 1year and half, even I wish!!!!!

「2012年6月の帰国なんてまだまだ先」なんて悠長な事言うてる場合やない！
職員室での先生らのゴシップ話、陰口に付き合ってる暇もない！
No time saying 'the day I return to Japan June 2012 is just so far away'
No time spending with teachers gossiping around about others.

お尻に火をつけて突っ走って、1年半後には顔手足だけやなく、お尻も真っ黒焦げで帰国しよう！
Let's put pressure (fire) on my ass.
Then I would like to go home not only with black-tanned face, arms and legs but also with black-burned-out ass.
