Wageni wa Kwanza: My First Guests in Wamumu

朝、学校までの道のりの途中、靴に石が入ってるような感じがして靴の中を確認すると、私のつま先によって潰されたゴキブリを発見した事があった。
One morning, on the way to school, I felt something like a small stone inside my shoe. I took it off and remove the thing inside, then it was a dead cockroch, clushed and by my toe

あの日以来、靴を履く時は毎回靴の中身を確認するようにしている。
Since then, I put the shoes on after confirming there is nothing inside.

今朝、まだ日も出ておらず暗い中、懐中電灯片手に靴の中をいつもの様に確認。
This mornig, 5:30. Everyboy was still sleeping, the Sun as well. In the dark, I checked inside of my running shoes with a torch.

なんかおる。
There was something inside.

小さくて黒くてザリガニのような大きな手、長い尻尾の先は釣り針のよう。
Small and black with big hands like a crayfish. The tip of his long tail is like a fishing needle.

なんとサソリが靴の中に！
It was a SCOPION inside my shoes.

蠍座やけど蠍なんて見たことなかったし、蠍やと分かるまで数秒かかった！
Althouhg my star sign is scopio, I'd never seen the one.  So, it took me a few seconds to recognise this small creature was a scopion.

蠍と言っても種類は色々いるみたいで、ワムムの蠍は毒とかないらしく、そこまで危険やないみたい。
There are various types of scopions on the Earth. Scopions in Wamumu are not poisonous. So they are not regarded as dengerous as I imagined.

そんなワムムに記念すべき第一号のお客様が今週火曜日にナイロビから来てくれました！
Even Wamumu is a place like this, my first commemorative guests visited me last Tuesday all the way from Nairobi.

ナイロビでソフトボールのコーチをしているUTA-chanとお友達でPC EngineerのAB-chan。
My guests were Ms. Uta who is coaching Softball in Nairobi and her and my friend Mr. Abdi, who is a PC Engineer in Nairobi, too.

ワムムの子どもたちも久々の客人に大喜びで、今までに見た事もないぐらい、てきぱきした動きを見せていた。
Wamumu boys, who love to welcom guests, were so excited and so well-organised that I'd never
 seen before.

お2人が帰った後も「あのmrembo（美人さん）は誰？どこで働いてるの？」と生徒＆先生から質問攻めにあいました。
Boys and teachers as well kept asking me "who was that mrembo(beautiful lady)?" after the guests left.

水も家具もないワムムの我が家に泊まってくれた二人に感謝。
I appreciate my guests who stayed my house where there was no water and furnitures.

はよ家具やら何やら色々揃えて、色んな客人を招待できるようにしよう！
I should prepare my house well so that I can invite more guests to my place.
