MATATSU

In Kenya, main public transportation everybody uses are matatsu, kind of a big taxi. Most of them are TOYOTA HIACE for 12 passengers.

Matatsu is operated by one DEREVA, who drives the matatsu, and one KONDAKUTA, who collects PESA(money) from passengers.

Most of the Matatsu plays MUSIKI loud inside and dusty. Nairobi is very busy with cars. their emissions and sand dust is quite hush here.

There are so many MATATSU running here. It is because it just costs you 20~3o Kenya Shilings (1KSH=1.2JYN). So cheap. and it's so handy.

THINGS THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION:

1.Pick pocket.

2.Pick pocket.

3.Do not miss the place you getting off. (you better know the scenary of your place)
